Article 2 - Purpose
The purpose of these terms of use (the "Terms") is to set the legal framework governing how Good Circle makes the site and services available, and to define the conditions of access and use of the services by the "User".
These Terms are available on the site under the "Terms of Use" section.
Any registration or use of the site implies the User's unreserved and unrestricted acceptance of these Terms. When registering on the site via the registration form, each user expressly accepts these Terms by ticking the box preceding the following text: "I acknowledge that I have read and understood the Terms of Use and I accept them".
If the User does not accept the Terms set out in this agreement, they must refrain from accessing the services offered by the site.
GoodCircle reserves the right to unilaterally modify the content of these Terms at any time.
Article 3 - Access to the site
The www.good-circle.com site gives the User free access to the following services:
The site is freely accessible anywhere to any User with internet access. All costs incurred by the User in accessing the service (computer equipment, software, internet connection, etc.) are their own responsibility.
Non-member Users do not have access to the restricted services. To obtain access, they must register by completing the form. By agreeing to register for the restricted services, the member User undertakes to provide truthful and accurate information about their identity and contact details, in particular their email address.
To access the services, the User must then log in using the username and password sent to them after registration.
Any duly registered member User may also request removal of their account from the dedicated page in their personal area. Removal will take effect within a reasonable time.
www.good-circle.com accepts no liability for any event caused by force majeure resulting in a malfunction of the site or server, and subject to any interruption or modification for maintenance. In such cases, the User agrees not to hold the publisher responsible for any interruption or suspension of service, even without notice.
The User may contact the site by email at the publisher's email address given in ARTICLE 1.
Article 4 - Registration and user account
To access certain services, the user must register by providing accurate information. The account is personal and confidential. The user may request removal of their account at any time from their personal area.
Article 5 - Services provided
GoodCircle offers in particular:
- The creation and publication of an Impact Profile for companies
- A fast, simplified ESG diagnostic
- A tailored action plan
- Access to a business partner ecosystem
- A collaborative platform for tracking ESG commitments
Features may change at any time. GoodCircle undertakes to inform users of any substantial change.
Article 6 - User undertakings
The user undertakes to:
- Use the Site in accordance with its intended purpose
- Not to impair the proper functioning or integrity of the Site
- Not to divert the services for unlawful, fraudulent or competing purposes
Article 7 - Collection and processing of data
The site ensures that the User's personal information is collected and processed with respect for privacy, in accordance with French Act No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on information technology, data files and civil liberties.
Under the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, the User has a right to access, rectify, erase and object to their personal data. The User exercises this right by email at hello@good-circle.com
Article 8 - Intellectual property
The trademarks, logos and signs, as well as all site content (text, images, sound and so on), are protected by the French Intellectual Property Code and in particular by copyright.
The Good Circle trademark is registered by Good Circle. Any representation and/or reproduction and/or exploitation, whether partial or total, of this trademark, of whatever nature, is strictly prohibited.
The User must obtain the site's prior authorisation for any reproduction, publication or copying of the various content. The User undertakes to use the site's content strictly in a private capacity; any use for commercial or advertising purposes is strictly prohibited.
Any total or partial representation of this site by any means whatsoever, without the express authorisation of the website operator, would constitute an infringement punishable under Article L 335-2 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code.
It is recalled, in accordance with Article L122-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code, that a User who reproduces, copies or publishes protected content must cite the author and the source.
Article 9 - Liability
The sources of the information published on www.good-circle.com are deemed reliable, but the site does not guarantee that it is free from defects, errors or omissions.
The information provided is given for general guidance only and has no contractual value. Despite regular updates, www.good-circle.com cannot be held liable for changes to administrative and legal provisions occurring after publication. Likewise, the site cannot be held liable for the use and interpretation of the information it contains.
The User is responsible for keeping their password secret. Any disclosure of the password, in whatever form, is prohibited. The User assumes the risks associated with the use of their username and password. The site accepts no liability.
www.good-circle.com cannot be held liable for any viruses that might infect the user's computer or any computer equipment following use of, access to, or downloading from this site.
The site cannot be held liable in the event of force majeure or the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party.
Article 10 - Hyperlinks
Hyperlinks may appear on the site. The User is informed that by clicking these links they will leave www.good-circle.com. The site has no control over the web pages these links lead to and cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for their content.
Article 11 - Cookies
The User is informed that during visits to the site, a cookie may be installed automatically on their browsing software.
Cookies are small files stored temporarily on the hard drive of the User's computer by their browser and are necessary for using www.good-circle.com. Cookies contain no personal information and cannot be used to identify anyone. A cookie contains a unique identifier, randomly generated and therefore anonymous. Some cookies expire at the end of the User's visit, others remain.
The information contained in cookies is used to improve www.good-circle.com.
By browsing the site, the User accepts them. The User must nevertheless give consent for the use of certain cookies. Failing acceptance, the User is informed that some features or pages may be denied to them.

GoodCircle reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Users will be informed of changes via the site or by email.
Article 13 - Governing law and jurisdiction
French law governs this agreement. Should a dispute arise between the parties and no amicable settlement be reached, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
